Political Education
Night School
Our goal at Night School is to provide a space for participants to ask deep questions about political engagement, to delve into the history of social movements for guidance, and to create political know-how together. We focus on socialist movements and organizing strategies. By studying contemporary and historical movements, we build theoretical knowledge as well as solidarity with other socialist struggles. By studying organizing principles, we transform theoretical knowledge into practical knowledge in order to contribute to our goal of a society free of oppression and exploitation. Anyone and everyone is welcome, so please join us!
We meet most Wednesdays at 6:30 PM. You can check our calendar to find upcoming events.

Does reading history and philosophy intimidate the heck out of you? Does the first page of a Marx text give you a headache? Then this is the club for you! In our book club, we collectively choose books to read and discuss together. Discussion helps hold us accountable to reading and deepens our understanding. If you are passionate about a text, suggest it! Better yet, offer to lead the next iteration of book club!
